MERCANTINO® ~ Offida DOCG Pecorino | 2020

The color is straw yellow with greenish reflections. The nose has an intense, persistent, fine aroma, with hints of fresh fruit (melon, mango) and citrus flowers. The taste is fruity, very savory, slightly acidic wine with persistence.

Grapes: Pecorino 100% Average production per hectare: 7/8 t of grapes.

Vinification: hand-selection of the grapes and harvesting in boxes. Soft pressing and thermo-conditioned fermentation.

Aging: Maturation in the absence of oxygen for long periods in contact with fine lees in steel tanks.

Pairings: Ideal pairing with roasted fish and with soft cheeses.
