Rupe Nero ~ Gold Rosso Piceno DOC | 2016

Characteristics: Ruby red color with garnet reflections. The aromas are fine and complex with notes of jam, chocolate and licorice. The taste is soft, enveloping and persistent. The tannic texture is refined and elegant.
Vinification: hand-selection of the grapes and harvesting in boxes. Long maceration with the skins. Deléstage and soft pressing. Aging for at least 2 years in Slavonian oak barrels. 

Grapes: Montepulciano and Sangiovese.

Average production per hectare: 7/8 t of grapes.

Pairings: Roasted meat and aged cheeses.
